DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

Satellite imagery indicates that Fred no longer has a well-defined
center of circulation, and is no longer a tropical cyclone. At 500
PM AST (2100 UTC), the remnants of Fred were located near latitude
26.5 North, longitude 42.5 West. The remnants are moving toward the
north-northeast near 10 mph (17 km/h) and this motion is expected to
continue into Monday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
The disturbance is expected to lose its identity over the next day
or so.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1011 mb (29.86 inches).

located near latitude 13.2 North, longitude 31.2 West. Grace is
moving toward the west near 15 mph (24 km/h) and a continued
general westward motion with some increase in forward speed is
expected over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with
higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is possible during the
next day or so.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
