A TROPICAL STORM WATCH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

DEPRESSION TWO WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 13.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE
60.7 WEST OR JUST EAST OF ST. LUCIA.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 25 MPH...41 KM/HR. A
GRADUAL TURN TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST AND A DECREASE IN FORWARD
SPEED IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. THIS MOTION SHOULD
BRING THE CENTER OF THE DEPRESSION THROUGH THE WINDWARD ISLANDS
INTO THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN TODAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH... 55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. SOME SLOW STRENGTHENING IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT 24
HOURS...AND THE DEPRESSION COULD BECOME A TROPICAL STORM. LOCALLY
STRONGER WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS...ESPECIALLY
ABOVE 1000 FEET. AN AIR FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT IS

LATITUDE 37.1 NORTH...LONGITUDE 71.1 WEST OR ABOUT 280 MILES
EAST-NORTHEAST OF CAPE HATTERAS NORTH CAROLINA.

ALEX IS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST-NORTHEAST NEAR 18 MPH AND A GRADUAL
INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 90 MPH...WITH HIGHER
