depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h),
and this motion is expected to continue through Saturday. A turn to
the north should begin on Sunday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Fred is forecast to weaken to a remnant low on Saturday.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
